I had a blast photographing these two adorable girls in clothing by Matilda Jane last week! These clothes could not have been more much fun to photograph... They are so colorful and vibrant! Love it! I often have clients ask me what to wear to a photo session... My usual reply is to keep the clothing simple with a splash of color here and there. I love neutrals, creams, beige, eggshell, etc. Since these clothes were far from that, I was excited to see how they would photograph! Being more of a minimalist, I was pleasantly surprised with how these images turned out with the fun and crazy patterns! The location was perfect for this shoot with the tall green grass and the sun poking through the branches. I just love these images... Really makes it feel like spring has sprung here in Santa Barbara!

Oh, how I just absolutely adore these photos! This photo shoot was not for a client, but for me. I had a vision... I wanted to create something beautiful with the feeling of winter and the approaching holidays. My idea was to express the essence of Christmas in a subtle and beautiful way... I think I got what I was hoping for. This adorable little girl was so excited to put on her white fairy dress and pose for the camera. We went through a TON of glitter and made a huge mess, but I think it was worth every minute we spent sweeping up. Thank you for making my vision come to life! XOXO

Here is another fun photo shoot from my Holiday Mini Sessions! I have had the pleasure of photographing these sisters over the last few years and I always enjoy their sweet little laughs and giggles! We had a great time together and I was able to captured some adorable photos of them as they explored their surroundings. It was a gorgeous morning in Goleta where I was holding a series of Mini Sessions... Although it was cool and overcast, the light was just gorgeous. I am always excited to wake up to fog and overcast weather when I have a photo shoot... It makes for soft beautiful light! Love it!

It's that time of year!! The holidays are around the corner and I have kicked off the season with my annual Holiday Mini Sessions. It was a beautiful October afternoon in Santa Barbara... Hello little Keegan Montgomery!! It was such a pleasure to meet and photograph this sweet and loving family. I just love the adorable nursery they created for their little man. So much love and creativity was put into making a special space for baby Keegan. It turned out just beautiful!

For the last couple of months, I have been extremely busy with newborn photo sessions... Must be something in the water! :) I am just loving all these sweet little babes, especially since I just had a little guy of my own back in February!! It's so fun to see how different each and every baby is. Newborn sessions are so special and I just love sharing this intimate time with parents and their little bundles!

I had a blast photographing Jen, Brian, and their adorable little boy, Jake, a few weeks back here in Santa Barbara! I can't believe how big Jake has grown! I just adore this sweet family and have grown very close to them over this last year while documenting all the wonderful milestones that have taken place in their lives. From pregnancy to newborn photos and now Jake at 6 months, I am excited share and capture these special moments. It means the world to me to be part of this exciting time! Santa Barbara Newborn Photographer- Hello Aidan!

Happy New Year to everyone!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your family and loved ones. It feels great for the holidays to wind down and jump back into what I love to do most... Newborn photos!!! It was so great to photograph Baby Aidan at just 12 days old... I love the jet black hair and his little rolls. What a cutie! It usually takes a lot of rocking, feeding, and time to get newborns to sleep for the camera; however, Aidan just nestle right down and allow me to start photographing right away. What a treat!

Sweet little Alessandra had to be one of the cutest one year olds that I have photographed! Her little smile was so funny... She had me cracking up! This was a great photo shoot on an early Santa Barbara morning. As usual, the weather was beautiful and sunny out by the Stow House in Goleta. I was able to get some adorable shots of Alessandra that I just love. What a cutie pie! :)
