I had the best afternoon photographing Maggie... What a ham!! She was so hilarious and loved to pose for the camera with her school friend watching on the sidelines throughout most of the photo shoot. Maggie had a blast playing with all my photo props and trying on every single hat I brought... I have a thing for hats too! I just love her beautiful red hair against her cream dress. The sunlight came streaking through the trees and made for the most gorgeous light... It was a magical afternoon here in Santa Barbara after weeks of rain. It's so nice to have the sun out again!!

Sweet little Alessandra had to be one of the cutest one year olds that I have photographed! Her little smile was so funny... She had me cracking up! This was a great photo shoot on an early Santa Barbara morning. As usual, the weather was beautiful and sunny out by the Stow House in Goleta. I was able to get some adorable shots of Alessandra that I just love. What a cutie pie! :)

As a soon to be mother of two boys, I must say there is a part of my heart that melts when I get to photograph little girls in pretty dresses. I love the way they twirl around for the camera, so sweet and adorable! These two girls couldn't have been cuter with their big round eyes and pink dresses! It was a beautiful day for family photos at Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara. The pictures turn out spectacular and will make one amazing Christmas card! The sun was shining and the cool breeze made us feel like fall is actually here to stay.

It's that time of year!! Time for my annual Christmas Portrait Mini Sessions. I look forward to these every year because I get to see some of my favorite families come back once again to capture these very special moments in their lives. The Smith Family is no exception! We had a great photo shoot on the Mesa in Santa Barbara... This short mini session was perfect for their little man who did a fantastic job as we captured some beautiful photos for their Christmas Card. I just love the Holidays!!!

It has been one busy portrait season!!! I am just finally getting around to posting some of favorite family photo shoots from the last couple of months. The Nisen family was one of my first photo shoots of the Holiday Season... These boys were full of energy, which I just love! It is always fun to capture the true nature of young boys... So sweet! The oak trees were just beautiful and I love fall colors we so rarely see here in Santa Barbara.

There are no words for how sweet little guy is! Baby Jake is so blessed to have such a loving family and I was lucky enough to photograph some of their first memories together. Jake was so calm throughout the entire photo shoot and I was able to capture some very precious moments at their home in Santa Barbara, CA. I just love newborn portraits... These tiny little people grow up so quickly!
